o I sort of stole the title from thomas boswells book about baseball, ‘why time begins on opening day.’ but since today is the first day of multiple football games I figure it was appropriate. and to make this day even more special, it’s fantasy football lovers Christmas. woooord.
let’s start with my lineup. peyton manning, no brainer. I got larry johnson and selvin young as my running backs. santonio holmes and jabar gaffney are my wideouts today (plaxico played on Thursday, 13 points!). vernon Davis at the TE with the bills defense and jeff reed of the steelers as my kicker. I’m feeling good, also have one of the highest previews in the league.
mine, and many other men and women’s Sundays are ruined for the next 16 weeks. needless to say, I’m stoked! I let you know how I did later, if I can even write.
