hope for the hopeless tour 09 brett dennen
it’s been a busy week. flew to LA sunday morning, started rehearsals that afternoon. practiced 6 hours a day till we taped Leno on wednesday. then we flew out the next morning to Orlando to start the tour. i’m ready to play in front of people. tonights the first night. sold out, can’t wait to perform NOT in front of cameras. i’ve only played with brett twice, once on Good Morning America, the other on Leno.

hey… i caught one of your shows in sf and one in san diego… you guys were rockin. thank you for great, great music. also… the sd crowd was pretty lame. you probably wouldn’t remember it, but i was kind of embarrassed to be a part of that madness. so- apologies on behalf of this city. anyways… keep up the sweet music!!!

Wow. I’ve been reading through your site here a bit. I’m a curious soul. I thirst for knowledge, love to learn. It keeps things interesting, keeps you young, while making you wise (I do like to think.)
And I love to learn about peoples’ stories. Real people, with real thoughts, really willing to share.
Thank you, for writing here, blogging, whatever you choose to call it. I hope you will continue on with it. 1) because I think it’s really cool to document journeys and thoughts in time. And 2) because it’s really cool that you’re willing to share with those who yearn to learn.

Oh, and by the way, saw you with Brett Dennen down in LaFarge, WI. I’d never been moved so much by any music as I have been by that which you guys put together. Was a dream come true to get to experience that. And all I could do was grin like a fool. Well, that, and sing my heart out and take pictures.
